“Living out God’s Mission in Every Season of Life”
Our speaker says, “I love growing older, and my wife hates it. I do admit that I miss the hair I had in my 20’s. The truth is that following Jesus is a continuous adventure that matures with us as we age, adding value and meaning to our lives.”
What does the next season of living out God’s mission look like for you? Discover how the Spirit of God that is in you is ready to empower you for the next season of your life.
Pastor Dean Rostad, President of the Canadian Lutheran Bible Institute, is a west coast boy from Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada. He was raised in a loving Christian home by parents with a heart for Jesus. His parents modeled their faith through dedicated service at our church (Christ Lutheran). After attending Canadian Lutheran Bible Institute (CLBI), he served as Youth Director, Program Director at Camp Luther, Director of Communications and Leadership Program at CLBI, and Pastor at Resurrection Lutheran, Camrose.
He has been married for 22 years to his wife, Kim. They have two sons (Luke and James), two daughters (Sonja and Julia), and two dogs (Duke and Daisy).
He loves outdoor activities such as canoeing, all types of skiing, and cycling. There is nothing that makes him feel more alive than biking with studded tires and ski goggles in a -25 snow storm.
