The Campus Ministry Community is an opportunity to for college students to live together in our beautiful setting at Lake Carlos, grow in their faith and in their knowledge of the Bible, and work together to make a difference in the lives of others – while they are taking classes at Alexandria Technical and Community College.

Live Together:

Students live in newly remodeled cabins, each one housing two students. Cabins come fully furnished with two individual bedrooms, a shared bathroom, and a kitchenette. Students receive meals together in the dining hall or in the Welcome Home Retreat House.

Beautiful Outdoor Setting :

Mount Carmel camp is located on Lake Carlos in Alexandria, MN. Our 83 acre campus is perfect for swimming, fishing, canoeing, hiking, and playing outdoor games. In the winter, our students can go cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, ice-fishing, or ice-skating!

Grow in Faith:

Our students gather together throughout the week to study the Bible, worship, and pray. Teachers instruct our students in Biblical worldview topics, Old Testament, New Testament, Church History, and Theology. Students learn how to share with each other the Truth found in the Bible, and how to better articulate their faith.

Make a Difference:

An attitude of outreach and service is one of our goals. Students in the Campus Ministry Community gain valuable experience in servant leadership. One weekend a month we work together to impact the lives of other people in the name of Christ. These service projects include rebuilding homes, working with adults with disabilities, participating in inner-city projects, and much more. Any college student is welcome to join us!
