August 18-21 (M-Th) Mini Elderversity
Join us for a very special Mini-week and reunite with Lutheran Bible Institute or Golden Valley
Lutheran College alumni. Our teacher will be Pastor Jack Aamot a former missionary in Brazil
and head of LEM. Jack's wife is a graduate of LBI and he claims to have been on the campus
so often to see her, that many thought he was a student! Alongside him Dr. Jack Eichorst, former
President of LBI in Seattle (now Trinity Lutheran College) will preach each evening. Bring your
friends and other LBI or GVLC grads to fellowship
with us.
August 25-28 (M-Th) Mini Elderversity
Paul Berge a professor of New Testament from
Luther Seminary is one of the liveliest and most
engaging teachers of the Bible. His topic is from
Colossians called the Secret of Wisdom and
Truth. The evening preacher is Pastor Dale Vitalis
who brings life to the word in a most exciting and
poignant style.
September 7-12 (Sun-Fr) Elderversity
Pastor Daniel Simundson will teach about
the suffering and hope as it appears in Job, the
Psalms and the New Testament. Dan will share
from his own experiences and these texts to
bring light and revelation to this human condition.
Pastor Don Richman of Eastern European
Missions will preach of the hope of the gospel.
September 14-19 (Sun-Fr) Elderversity
Pastor Lloyd Wallace will bring us a study on
“Jew, Gentile in the Plan of God.” Lloyd will base
his teaching on Romans 9, 10, and 11 and give
insight into the conflicts and tensions in Israel
today. Each evening we will hear the message of God’s truth as preached by Pastor Jim Bjorge of
Moorhead, MN. Pastor Dick Hamlin of Phoenix, AZ.
will present on healing, wholeness and spiritual renewal.
September 21-24 (Sun-W) Mini-Elderversity
This mini-Elderversity begins on Sunday and ends
Wednesday noon. Pastor Lloyd Wallace will teach
the “I Am” Statements of Jesus and the connection
between these and texts from Isaiah. Pastor Jim
Bjorge will preach three evenings bringing his
incredible gift of preaching the light of Christ to each
person. Come and enjoy the fall colors, crisp air, and
fellowship!
