Blending contemporary and traditional worship music — one community, one service, gathered around God's Word on Lake Carlos every Sunday morning.
Summer 2026 — Something New
Mount Carmel gathers for worship each Sunday morning from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Beginning in Summer 2026, we will be holding one unified worship service at 9:30 AM — approved by the Mount Carmel Board to strengthen our shared life together as one community in Christ.
This change was approved by the Mount Carmel Board of Directors as a mission-aligned decision — not simply a logistical one. It reflects our commitment to intergenerational community and the shared life of the whole body of Christ.
In previous years, Mount Carmel offered multiple service times. This unified format brings everyone together — family campers, local community members, and guests — around Word and song in a single gathering.
Rather than dividing across multiple services, all are invited to worship together — family campers, local community members, and guests gathered as one body.
Mount Carmel is a place where all ages belong. One service reflects that reality by bringing the full body of Christ together in one space.
Summer is a high-demand season for staff and leadership. A single service allows us to offer one strong, well-prepared worship experience each week.
Reservations are encouraged. Email office@mountcarmelministries.com to reserve your table.
Mount Carmel is a 501(c)3 charitable ministry. Your offering helps sustain this life-giving work. You may give online, by mail, or during any service.

"At Mount Carmel, we believe worship is best when the whole body of Christ can gather together."
Our Heritage. Mount Carmel is an independent camp ministry with strong Lutheran roots, born from the Lutheran Bible Institute movement of the early 1900s. We are non-synodical in governance, inter-synodical in relationship, and ecumenical in practice — a place where the whole body of Christ is at home.
