Family Camp Recharge is coming February 13–16 at Mount Carmel, a winter weekend designed for families to step away from busy schedules and receive the rest and renewal that God delights to give. Through worship, shared meals, unhurried time, and meaningful teaching, this weekend creates space to breathe, reconnect, and be renewed together.
We are thrilled to announce that Dan van Voorhis will be our speaker for the weekend! Dan is an incredibly engaging and gifted teacher. You may know him from his daily podcast The Christian History Almanac. Dan is an author, historian, professor, and speaker at 1517. After earning his PhD Dan taught for 11 years on history and political thought before becoming a scholar-in-residence with 1517 and hosting the Christian History Alamanc. Dr. van Voorhis will guide us through simple, life-giving Christian rhythms—Scripture, prayer, and hospitality—not as burdens or obligations, but as gifts shaped by the Gospel and grounded in grace.This all inclusive weekend is only $265 per adult and $165 per child. It includes housing, 9 meals, and all of the amazing Mount Carmel programming! We hope to see you at this event soon!
