2nd Annual Mount Carmel Men's Warrior Training Retreat
September 24-26, 2021
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” -Colossians 3:23
We are excited to welcome back Brian Wallace of Warrior Training to be our guest teacher for the Mount Carmel Men’s Retreat! Warrior Training engages young men in order to encourage them in their faith, remind them of their identity in Christ, and challenge them to take up their cross and pursue the living God. In addition to providing biblically based teaching, Brian will lead participants in a variety of applications of scripture that can be found at https://www.warrior–training.com/.
This event is open to men of all ages, and would be particularly good for father-son duos!
Here is a little more information about our guest teacher:
Brian Wallace has been involved in ministry in many different forms over the past twenty-five years. Beginning as a youth group volunteer in Maryland and Virginia, he was soon on the road full time with a music missions team that traveled throughout the US and overseas. He then served as a church youth director in Texas, worked on staff at a Bible camp in Minnesota, and taught high school & junior high science within the Christian school system in Maryland and Colorado. He has authored several faith-based novels and has been a speaker at ministry events across the US and in India and Nepal. He currently lives in Southern California.
Reminding men of their true identity in Christ is one of the most consistent callings that God has placed on Brian’s heart. Warrior Training is a direct response to that call. Husbands, fathers, brothers, sons… workers and explorers and artists and poets… builders and healers and teachers and warriors… all walking with God in courageous, loving purpose…
… this is life. This is what we were made for.
